I combined both the sketch and the photo on my card. I just loved the elegance and color palette which made it designing my card a flash.
I used watered down liquid glue and splattered it on my card and then sprinkled some glitter over it I had some fun gold and kraft triangle paper that matched perfectly for my pennant. I layered it with the laugh and today sticker and then added the let loose which I stamped using the Stinky Skunk set from Sweet Stamp Shop. To finish it off I added some flowers and ribbon and a cute little gold glittered heart. I just loved how this card came together. :)

I used the drops background and Too Hip stamp sets from Sweet Stamp Shop you can find them HERE in the shop. For the background I used my Tim Holtz distress inks in Ripe persimmon, picked raspberry, and Squeezed Lemonade.

I used a beautiful butterfly paper that i had in my stash then added a layer of vellum and real wood paper. I stamped a little sentiment from Sweet Stamp Shop, added some ribbon and finished off with a flower and pins. I just love the way that this turned out. The real wood paper is so much fun to use and I think the look of it is so unique. Did you know you can even emboss on it??? Yep, it looks quite gorgeous :)

Fusion Challenge #1

Hey guys little late in getting this up, but better late than never, right!?!?!

Today is the kick off for Fusions new challenge. I am so happy to be a part of this and working with all of these lovely ladies!  I am just loving the first challenge of the year for fusion, the photo inspiration is so fresh and beautiful and pairs so nicely with the clean lines of the sketch it was just meant to be "fused" together :).
Fusion Card Challenge #1:

Ok, so if you are new to fusion here is how to join in on the fun:
How to play:
1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.
5. Please read the other considerations on the Our Rules Page before playing along.

Here is my card for Fusion Card Challenge #1
I used brown cardstock for the base of my card and then layered some pretty pattern paper similar to the pattern of the pillow....not sure the name of that pattern but I LOVE it. It was part of my Teresa Collins stash and then I found in my papers a really nice orange same as the pillow pattern from Studio Calico on top. Embellished with some wood stars, raffia, and enamel dots. Finished off with a sentiment from Sweet Stamp Shop.
Elegant Sentiments
